retro charm with minor downsides
kind staff clean room great view spacious area
the staff was kind. the room was clean, and the rooms were great. there was also a great view! spacious sitting areas are throughout, so i could see the sea. the breakfast had a full variety of choices.

the indoor swimming pool is clean, with a decent view. the gym has three treadmills and two stationary bikes. there are also sauna facilities and a dedicated relaxation area next to the pool.

fantastic getaway !
direct access free parking fresh options
I really appreciated the direct beach access . It made seaside strolls so easy. the parking being free was a huge plus , especially since i had a rental car. the breakfast offered a solid variety of options , and everything tasted fresh , so i did not need anything else. the hotel features original 60's style furniture , which i loved.
the indoor pool required a swimming cap , which i didn't have and needed to buy.

faulty air conditioning breakfast selection
the air conditioning barely worked. i contacted the front desk, and they seemed unconcerned. the room felt stuffy and uncomfortable. the breakfast selection was also disappointing. i was expecting more variety and better quality for the price.

beautiful art extensive facilities helpful staff extra blankets
The hotel has beautiful art throughout its premises. I found the facilities extensive, like the indoor and outdoor pools. The staff were very helpful and quick to assist. I noticed extra blankets were already in the room, a nice touch.

shabby room noisy hallway
The location allowed easy access to the waterfront and restaurants. Breakfast was acceptable I guess maybe even the best during my six weeks of travel.
The room was shabby. It looked dated. It desperately needed a makeover. Hallways were noisy. They also needed updating.
