charming getaway by the sea

separate entranceconvenient spottown centernoisy floor
i found a separate entrance, and it allowed me to come and go without disturbing anyone. the owner, john, kindly saved a parking space right outside for me. this spot proved convenient throughout the weekend. a very short walk led me to the town center and the beach
my room was a bit noisy since the floors moved when you walked. the metal frame of the bed also made some noise with any movement. it did make it a little difficult to sleep soundly at times!
Rooms
9/10
my room included a nice, compact en suite shower room. it featured a kettle complete with tea and coffee. plenty of storage was available along with a mini fridge, so i had ample space.
Service

john, the owner, was a lovely and friendly person, as were the bar staff. i enjoyed conversations with some of the locals too, a really cute atmosphere it provided. they were very helpful.
Facilities
9/10
this location is convenient, with the main hub of the town center just a short walk away. being so close to the beach also proved to be a great advantage. everything was easily accessible.

separate entrancenoise disturbancesound insulation
The hotel offered a separate entrance , with access without going through the pub.
Karaoke nights occurred regularly. These events ended around 11 PM, yet the noise was still an issue? The room clearly needed better sound insulation, adding to the disturbance

charming stay near the station

great locationfantastic host
The location is very close to the station, which i loved. the room felt spacious. it was actually like two rooms with a dining table and four chairs in the inner one, how great is that. john was fantastic. He even let me park right in front of the hotel with a permit.
