warm hospitalityjunior suitewooden window
i spent two nights celebrating my wife's birthday the nepalese hospitality was authentic from check-in to departure. shiva, the manager, embodies the essence of this hotel, a warm guest experience.
soundproofing is lacking street noise easily penetrates the wooden windows. despite changing rooms multiple times, finding a quiet space proved difficult. discomfort arose from persistent external sounds.

the managing director took the time to explain the hotel's history and nepalese culture this added a personal touch. the service was otherwise perfect with staff addressing every need. i felt very welcomed .

you can easily walk to the pashupatinath unesco site within minutes from the hotel this makes it easy to explore local attractions. the hotel offers a serene escape despite its proximity to bustling areas. taxis are also available.

mako's is an excellent dining option at the hotel the food quality was high. a great outdoor buffet was offered to celebrate nepali new year. i enjoyed every meal.

poor soundproofinginconvenient mirror
The room had poor soundproofing. The noise from outside was quite disruptive. wooden windows did little to block street sounds, and i had to change rooms several times to find a quieter space. this was disappointing considering the cost. also, i found the lack of a full-length mirror inconvenient.
