Absolutely Wonderful Experience!

I was upgraded to the honeymoon suite as a birthday surprise for my husband I enjoyed a complimentary glass of Prosecco at dinner I found the whole experience relaxing after a busy week. The room was spacious and well equipped I thought the staff were lovely and friendly I appreciated the great service.

The grounds feature beautiful flowers and mature trees I saw original ceilings and other features inside I found plenty of comfortable chairs throughout the hotel. There is also a library with a bar.

The breakfast was very good I found the evening meal option to be really good as well The restaurant offered a relaxed dining experience I thought the food and service met a high standard.

the dining experience was very good. we enjoyed excellent meals during our two nights, and the menu had a reasonable selection. the breakfast buffet had a good selection of food and freshly cooked options (especially the omelets!).
the path to the stable block had loose pebbles, making it a bit difficult to walk on.

the grounds were indeed beautiful. the comfy bed and nice wine added to the relaxation. the room was clean and the staff were lovely.. very attentive. the whole stay was easily worth the money.
i found breakfast to be slightly underwhelming after a bit of a wait.

i found the staff helpful. the breakfast and dinner were superb, with varied menus. the room was clean with a comfortable bed. i enjoyed the tasteful lounge with an open fire.
The pebbled path to the stable block was a little loose. A minor inconvenience.
