The hotel features lovely gardens and a quiet location. Public areas are very nice and distinctive. The room was spacious and well equipped. I found excellent value for money.
My shower water was only lukewarm in the morning.

The breakfast had a great variety. Staff members were cheerful and efficient. They adapted to individual preferences with no problems. The hotel is in a peaceful location with refreshing decor.
My room was a little tired. It needs some maintenance to bring it up to standard. I had lukewarm water during an early morning shower. Several bathroom fixtures seemed damaged.

The staff were very friendly. breakfast was nice. the atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. It was easy to feel at home.
our room was tired and needed tlc to bring it up to standard. the room was next to the kitchen extractor, so it was noisy. an early morning shower had lukewarm water.

unreliable wififaulty remote
the wifi wasn't working during my entire stay. this made it hard to check emails. also, the tv remote wasn't working correctly. i had to get up to change the channel myself.

the gardens looked fine in july. the surroundings seemed beautiful. the rooms were quiet, but the food tasted plain. it came locally sourced, i think.
the breakfast included one very indifferent staff member. this seemed to spoil a lovely stay. i found the room was tired. it needed a lot of tlc.
