Acceptable Location, Disappointing Room

The hotel's location was convenient to the train station, helpful for my travel plans.
My room was smaller THAN expected. It felt cramped. There was no minibar in the room, which I found unusual for a hotel of this class. I think the room was overpriced for the amenities available.

The room offered climate control. The bed was quite comfortable. I appreciated the soundproofing because it eliminated street noise. The room design made efficient use of the space. Everything had a designated spot, so the room never felt cluttered. Breakfast included a good mix of items. The selection offered many options to guests.

The hotel features sleek, modern furnishings and design. It provided a very quiet room overlooking an inner courtyard. The gym is equipped with three treadmills. It also features two stationary bikes.

Breakfast had many options. The menu featured a good mixture of choices. The restaurant is next door. They serve food in the evenings. The menu is limited, but the food is of good quality.

The staff was friendly. They were very helpful, especially with luggage. They had a policy for storing luggage on my last day. The staff spoke English well. They were also professional in their interactions.

The hotel sits near the metro. It is close to Gare de l'Est. This made train travel simple. The location is central to many neighborhoods. I walked to restaurants easily.
