Fantastic Location and Comfy Beds!
super-comfy beds great location friendly staff
The beds were super-comfy and everything was really clean! The location is great for exploring the town. Plus, the staff were friendly. The car park was a definite bonus. It made everything so much easier!
I didn't like the room we were given initially, it was very hot, and noisy from the main road. As you had to keep the window open, it would have been unbearable overnight.

broken fan excessive heat
the location was quite central.
the fan in my room did not work (i asked at reception, but no others were available). i could not sleep at all due to the heat in the room, it being an older building. i found this particularly frustrating.

historical feeling comfy bed working shower easy parking
the building have a great location. i loved the interior decoration and its historical feeling. my room had a comfy bed, and the shower works very well. i found easy on-site car parking .
the breakfast was not fast. it was a bit of waiting involved.

helpful staff generous breakfast great tudor style friendly people
i found the location ideal for exploring the area with everything close. the staff were very friendly and helpful, answering any questions i had. the breakfast was generous, i enjoyed the fresh options. the building has a great tudor style, it felt special.
The floorboards above my room were a little squeaky. I could hear some movement at times

Wonderful Stay!
spacious bedroom refurbished bathroom pleasant evening meal repeat stay
The bedroom was spacious and well-equipped (i found everything i needed). I liked the recently refurbished bathroom. I enjoyed a pleasant evening meal, where the food was well cooked and beautifully presented. I will recommend this hotel to others and would definitely stay again if i return to this area.
The early morning noise from cleaners slamming doors was slightly disruptive (before 8 am).

dirty grouting tiny room
I really hated my stay! the room was tiny. i couldn't even get my coat in the wardrobe since the ironing board filled it. There was nowhere else to hang coats. the bathroom wasn't clean either. there were dirty window frames and dirty grouting around the floor. the waterfall shower head didn't work. i am so frustrated with this hotel.
