the room was clean and tidy. the staff were helpful . i appreciated having a nespresso machine in my room for morning coffee.
I noticed the absence of hot water one morning. i contacted reception and they reset the boiler. the water remained cold preventing me from showering before going out.

The room had hunting lodge decor. The staff was efficient upon arrival. The breakfast options were excellent. I found the location handy for the M65.
My room faced the road, and there was a lot of noise all night. There was a wedding , so music played loudly until midnight.

the noise was certainly an issue! we hardly got any sleep because the walls seemed thin. every sound from the corridor was like it was happening inside our room. i could hear alarms, toilets flushing, and taps running. also, there was a wedding reception that went on until late. i wasn't warned about that beforehand, annoying. the breakfast was quite basic too. i expected more variety, but it was mostly just a standard english breakfast.

The hotel boasts a beautiful design with rooms that feel five-star. I found the bed comfortable (best i've ever slept in!). The large walk-in shower was also lovely. The breakfast included a great selection, tasted great, and offered perfect poached eggs. The Fence Gate pub, located nearby, provides a convenient option for dining with a group.
