fantastic bathroomeasy controlground floor
the room included a fantastic bathroom with easy controls. hot water came instantly. breakfast was good and i had a full english. i didn't have to carry bags upstairs because the room was on the ground floor.

The room impressed me. it felt separate from the pub, really nice and quiet. the welcome tray was a nice touch, and i appreciated the fridge. both dinner and breakfast had plenty of choices. Portions were big, too. i was particularly fond of the sausage.

I found the staff friendly. They remembered me from a previous visit, it made the arrival more cute. they really looked after me from start to finish. the food was first class. it felt so homely and friendly. i definitely recommend this place.
i walked the pennine way, and breakfast wasn't available early enough on saturday. i had to miss out on the breakfast i had paid for. some better alternative needs to be arranged .
