i found a lovely welcome pack for my dog. it included bedding, food, and water bowls, which i really appreciated. my room was on the ground floor, with double doors leading out to the garden, very convenient. the restaurant provided excellent, high-quality food for both dinner and breakfast. it definitely exceeded my expectations.

the room felt quite cold. the french doors had some rot at the bottom, and i could feel a draft.

The staff are friendly and give very helpful assistance. Our suite included double doors opening into the lovely grounds, very practical for our dog. Dinner was delicious, with very good vegan and gluten-free options. Breakfast was equally excellent, with a full english breakfast also.

Invoicing for my room stay is still not resolved. This is a bit of a niggle since I was travelling on business.

the grounds were beautiful and peaceful. the staff were friendly and helpful. the food was really nice, especially the breakfast. it was amazing!!!

the mattress was very hard, and it was difficult to sleep. the rooms were very warm. i wasn't made aware of an event on saturday, and the music was loud. it finished late at 12.30am.

i enjoyed seeing squirrels and a hawk in the grounds! superb wifi quality was a bonus. the complimentary toiletries and bottled water were very useful. the huge, comfortable bed made for great sleep.

the wardrobe was ancient, though functional.
