friendly staff extensive garden dated room poor wifi
Staff was friendly. They seemed happy to work there! Gardens were also well kept and extensive, I gotta say.
The room was a little dated. I think the WiFi connection needed some help because I got only 3-4Mb/s max, isn't great.

attentive staff comfortable bed convenient parking
The staff members were attentive! Breakfast was always a pleasure due to Gabby, she remembers faces from previous visits. The king size bed in my room was very comfortable, a plus. Parking was available right next to the hotel.
The dining room could use some plants. But still it was good.

the bedroom was excellent. the room provided everything i needed. the reception staff were pleasant always.

a good experience
immaculate garden warm room delicious food
i stayed in a ground floor room.. it featured views of the immaculate garden. the room was very clean, warm, and contained all the facilities i needed. i enjoyed both dinner and breakfast there, the food was delicious with a good choice.
the hotel seemed a little dated. i guess the location justifies the price.

fantastic stay
personal service excellent meals good base
the meals were excellent , and i appreciated the personal service as the hotel only has a small number of rooms. the hotel serves as a good base for touring the north yorkshire moor. overall service was faultless throughout my visit.
