a pleasant stay overall

kind staffhelpful managerslow servicelack of guidance
the staff were very kind throughout my stay. i felt welcomed and greeted most of the time. the restaurant manager was also helpful to me.
The service was noticeably slow at times. it took around 40 minutes for 4 g&ts to arrive in my room. i also wasn't shown to my room initially. I had to find my own way.

The room was lovely, it was a Grand Nile View Room King. I was happy that the room was clean and quiet. I especially loved waking up and seeing the Nile every morning (it really is magnificent!).
I found the gym quite minimal, it really needs more equipment. I also thought the air conditioning did not work very well. There was a faint smell of smoke in my room, not ideal.

the hotel provided excellent service. the staff was very attentive (always smiling!). the breakfast restaurant was good. they offered anything to please guests.
the room had limited electrical plugs. there were no usb ports. the shaving mirror was barely hanging on the wall. it did not work.
