a cozy highland escape

excellent dinner

I stayed for some days after finishing the speyside way with my friends. they were always on hand to help. we had drinks at the barwith a great selection, and dinner was excellent. Desserts were a highlight!!!

the hotel is situated within walking distance of village shops. macphersons museum is located directly across from the hotel. its proximity to kingussie and the castle makes it a convenient base for exploring local attractions.

Breakfast included a wide selection of hot and cold options, including fruit and yogurt. dinner provided many delicious choices, even with a short staff. The food was amazing!!! service remained excellent. the bar offered a well-stocked selection of drinks.

I booked last minute, and the staff called to inform me the restaurant was closing early. I appreciated the proactive communication. Breakfast was AMAZING!!! The staff were friendly. The room was super very comfy and tidy. It was exactly what I needed after a long travel day. The bed was comfortable, and I had a restful sleep.
