the staff were utterly great! they were so friendly and cute. the food and service were AMAZING!!! we felt very well looked after from start to finish. breakfast was delicious and there was no need for lunch.
the mattress in my room was just awful. there is really no excuse for old and uncomfortable mattresses in hotels. it was a very small single room. it was right on the main road and there was a lot of traffic noise.

the receptionist was super helpful by checking us in early since the room was free from the previous night. this allowed us to have both our key and parking space, important as we knew we would be back late. the room itself was very clean and quiet. the bed was really comfortable.
i found the bathroom to be somewhat poor. getting the shower hot water was a struggle, and the controls felt hard to use. either i got cold water at high power or boiling water at very low pressure.

The hotel sits just a short walk from the cathedral and close to the high street shops. This made exploring super easy. i enjoyed the ability to walk everywhere.

the staff was helpful. the location was very central, a definite plus for exploring the area on foot. the room was clean and tidied daily. they changed the towels without being asked, which i appreciated.
the room faced the main road. i found the noise noticeable even with the windows closed. the prawn cocktail i ordered was not very nice, a letdown during my dining experience.
