Viking Room WAS AMAZING!!!

glass rooftopattentive staffperfect locationparking area
The Viking room's glass rooftop gave GREAT views of the fjord mountains and waterfalls. Breakfast had attentive staff ready to accommodate requests. The location is perfect for the ferry, the Viking village, and bus stops.
Finding parking in the afternoon was challenging due to the large public parking area. The hotel supervisor had bad behavior. Expensive Viking rooms are located between the parking lot and the kitchen storage area.

Viking Room Experience

viking themefjord waterfallonsite restaurantsmall town
The room was in a Viking theme. A skylight showed waterfalls down the fjord which was very rare. It was good to have restaurants on site. Nothing was available in the small town.
The room had a glass panel ceiling with no curtains. It was impossible to sleep during bright summer nights.
Location
9/10
The location provided amazing views of the fjords. The ferry to flam is next door, so it was easy to visit the viking village while awaiting our ferry. The bus stop is a few minutes walking distance from the hotel.
