I found the front desk people cute, a real charm. My room had all the amenities I needed during my entire stay. The bedding felt top notch, what a treat after a long trip.

I noticed very poor noise-isolation . Every morning, I woke up because staff hoovered the hallways early.

The hotel sat pretty close but not too close to downtown. Tour buses pick up and drop-off right outside this hotel. Parking was easy because it was right outside the front.

this hotel provided complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. free tea and coffee in the bar area all day! i loved that the hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff proved friendly and accommodating during my entire stay. i appreciated the free parking , a valuable amenity considering its proximity to the city center. breakfast had a lot of variety. icelandic touches like fish oil and skyr , so cool!

The location wasn't as central as I had hoped. A bit of a walk was needed to reach the main attractions. It wasn't too bad. The room felt a little cramped for the price. No air conditioning made it stuffy. Opening the window didn't help much.
