poor cleanlinesssubpar soundproofing

the room's cleanliness wasn't great upon arrival. I found some leftover mess from the previous guest, which wasn't a stellar first impression. during checkout, there was a huge queue with only one staff member, a total mess, really. also, the soundproofing was subpar. I could hear everything, including water running through pipes, not exactly relaxing.

the room was clean and the breakfast was acceptable.

The shower pressure was dreadful. It was just over a poor quality bath with a screen that wouldn't stay open. virtually no plugs were available in the room because the lights, coffee machine, kettle and hotel ipad used them all. i had to unplug a lamp to charge my phone.

I appreciated the excellent basement storage. We arrived with two bikes and the staff promptly directed us to the large lift. The location IS fantastic since the direct route of the Rheinradfahrt means you just cycle up to the hotel. The modern design and layout made it easy to navigate.
