excellent stay

the room was gorgeous and beautifully decorated. i found a very comfortable bed and huge bath towels. the restaurant food was great at a reasonable price.
the windows only opened slightly. not much air could circulate.

The hotel is in a quiet location off the beaten track. the surrounding fields offer a nice option for a walk. I even took a stroll along one of them adjacent to the hotel.

The room offered ample space, exceeding expectations for a typical hotel. cleanliness was clearly a priority, as everything sparkled. i also found the breakfast service good. It was cooked to order and i really enjoyed a buffet.
a minor issue arose as some items were missing in the bathroom, and i had to request them from reception. it wasn't a huge problem, but it did take a little time to sort it out.

The hotel has a well-equipped fitness center with modern machines. there are also beautiful gardens where i enjoyed relaxing strolls. The upkeep and design are fantastic. the parking area is spacious and easily accessible.

my double room included a king-size bed with premium linens. the bathroom featured a large soaking tub and a separate walk-in shower. complimentary high-speed wifi worked very well throughout the entire space.

The staff was friendly and helpful upon arrival. My room had beautiful decoration and was spotlessly clean. The bathroom included amazing shower and hair products for guest use.
I noticed the external gates did not have locks so anyone could walk into the courtyard.

I celebrated a special occasion at the restaurant here. the staff was attentive and professional. nothing seemed too much trouble for them. i even brought a cake to share with coffee after the meal. This was accommodated easily. the food itself was delicious.
baked beans would have made breakfast perfection. however, this is a very minor point. the breakfast otherwise was excellent.

the friday fish night didn't meet expectations based on the website images the fish was overcooked and had dark batter i got a small portion of mushy peas and chips. it was just ok but it didn't look like what i saw online. i might just go to my local fish shop next time instead.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating breakfast was excpetional.
The first night was peaceful, but the second night was NOISY because of a wedding party. Loud music continued until midnight. Guests were jolly and loud when leaving the courtyard shortly before 1am. The rooms were too hot, so windows had to be opened which increased the noise. An early start was needed, so I was not happy.

The room overlooked the courtyard. It was large and it was comfortable. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The included EV charger was convenient. I also found the location a plus. It was good for exploring Lincolnshire Wolds.
The bathroom door did not have a lock.
