the room was beautiful and very comfy. the usual room essentials were all high quality. I found the view amazing! i hope to be back without the work part next time.
I found it difficult to use app. there was too much communication prior to arriving. It was excessive and annoying.

my room had great views over the fields from one elevation, i loved it. the furniture matched the age of the manor, but there were many modern features, i noticed. the bath was amazing after a long day.

the room was clean and tidy upon arrival which was acceptable.
The self check-in process was frustrating. I struggled to access the hotel due to a faulty gate code. i attempted to contact the owner multiple times but received a delayed response. the excessive pre-arrival communication felt overwhelming and unnecessary.

i found the access instructions clear and easy. the hotel had character and personal touches. my room was lovely and clean and in keeping with a nice rural farm setting. it was exactly what i hoped for.
There were no little sachets of milk for a cup of tea. kindling for the fire had an extra charge. the window in the bedroom was very stiff to open. It took some effort.

the hotel is near enough to town and reminded me of the countryside. my room had great views over the fields. the four poster bed is a wonderful centrepiece. the bath was amazing to relax in after a long day.
the amount of communication prior to arriving was excessive. there was an unprofessional passive aggressive style of communication. almost every surface was covered in notes about how to behave. it had an uncomfortable and unwelcoming feeling
