The staff WAS excellent. They greeted me warmly. My room included a very clean bathroom. Breakfast offered fresh options that were well presented. I found the staff hard working and attentive to all my needs. The location was also IDEAL. It was close to the places I needed to visit.

The breakfast had lots of choice, and the time suited ME. Teas and coffee in the room was well stocked, a nice touch i thought. Staff were polite and helpful. That impressed me.
I thought the bed was awful and VERY noisy. It wasnt comfortable at all and i woke up during the night several times. Car parking caused me a bit of worry with how strict it was and that's bad.

The staff were very friendly and helpful! the location was good with access to everything i needed. my room was spacious and clean. The shower was quite big, great.
i paid for two nights in an upgraded river-view room, but the primary view was of a large parking lot. technically, my room also boasted two very slim windows that faced the river. unfortunately, the window coverings over them were fixed shut.

The 'river view' room was not great. my window overlooked a car park, quite disappointing, it was not what i expected. also, i was charged £7 per day for parking. I found this a bit cheeky.
