The location worked great. I really appreciated the free parking. Breakfast was a good waitress service.
The bed felt so firm. I noticed our room was entered and cleaned even after we put the do not disturb on. I felt out of place because this hotel seems old fashioned.

The hotel provided a complimentary car park a short distance away. The dining room was lovely with attentive service. Amy and Alison were friendly. I appreciated the location a short walk from the seafront and shops. The hotel provided convenient access to the Whitby Pavilion.

Decent Stay with Some Drawbacks
privacy violationfirm beds
Our room was entered for cleaning despite the 'do not disturb' sign being displayed. I found this a significant privacy violation. The beds also felt very firm (not to my liking). I think this hotel caters more to an older demographic (50+), so perhaps I felt a bit out of place (I am younger).
