the hotel is understaffed there is nobody at reception in the evening you also can't get in from the front door at night and need to go through the garage door

The rooms were practical and clean. The shower room had a good layout. I had a basic room, but it was perfectly satisfactory. Furnishings were of good quality. The bed provided substantial comfort. The breakfast was excellent, including non-gluten bread that tasted like real bread.
There was no phone in the room, so I had to go to the reception if I needed anything.

The hotel has laundry facilities including a washer and dryer, located a few floors down , accessible through an app. A subway entrance is about 100 meters from the hotel exit. There are also trams and buses available across the road.

The breakfast room features a comfortable area for relaxation or working on a laptop. Nearby, leafy backstreets host a great German pub . There is also a very good Vietnamese restaurant and a Turkish takeaway nearby.

The hotel is very close to public transportation. Access to a bus and tram allows for quick transport to the Hauptbahnhof. Friedrichstrasse and the Zoo Garden are also easily accessible from this location , with many facilities nearby.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with all my questions. The location is great with a metro station only 20 meters away, made visiting the area easy. The apartment was spacious AND very clean. I would book a room here again when I return.
I missed having a small fridge in the room. It would be useful for storing drinks and snacks.
