Tea Factory Charm
really good room comfortable bed friendly staff detailed history
The walk was informative, detailing the plantation's history, worthwhile. Staff were friendly. They ensured my stay was wonderful. My room was really good and the bed very comfortable. The building's architecture reuses much of the original structure.
The room fan was loud, sounding like a nuclear reactor. I could hear it in other rooms, even when mine was off

Unique Stay in Former Tea Factory
historical equipment comfortable room buffet dinner
The hotel preserved historical equipment. The staff were attentive and the building was interesting. My room had a comfortable bed and provided wonderful views of the surrounding area. Buffet dinner offered many options.
The winding road to reach the hotel was difficult, though the location was great.

decent stay amid tea fields
amazing view local village friendly staff expensive price rude chef lacking front desk
the setting was amazing, offering fine views around the hotel. i found the morning walk through the village to be one of the best parts of my trip. it provided a unique glimpse into local life and the natural beauty of the area. the staff i encountered were very friendly and helpful.
the hotel seemed a bit expensive considering what it offered. the chefs i interacted with were not very friendly. i also found the front desk service to be somewhat lacking. both the drinks and food were overpriced.

I found a couple of things disappointing. The bathroom wasn't great. The showerhead was a bit old. Also. I thought the food was just okay. It wasn't bad, but nothing stood out to me!

Underwhelming Experience in a Former Tea Factory
poor service expensive menu
The hotel grounds offered some pretty views of the surrounding tea fields.
The dining car experience was a joke, costing $130 USD for a menu surprisingly similar to the buffet. Service was seriously lacking. No one bothered to clear our plates, so we were forced to stack them ourselves. I found the staff's reaction to a simple request for a teaspoon quite shocking.
