The breakfasts were very good, with quality produce. Homemade marmalade WAS a special treat. Car parking was safe and easy.
The bed WAS uncomfortable. The traffic noise throughout the night continued through the morning. I had no sleep because of the noise. It was unbearable.

The location was acceptable since it allowed easy access to nearby attractions.
The room lacked proper soundproofing. Street noise was constant and quite disturbing, so sleep was difficult. The shower temperature fluctuated wildly.

the bedding had very good quality. the rooms include soap, shampoo, conditioner, tea, coffee, biscuits, and filtered water, unusual for a b and b. lucy runs the front of house and is very friendly. she ensures guests have an enjoyable stay and offers local knowledge.
i found a very slight discomfort with the bed.

the breakfast room is bright and airy, showing some original features. breakfast is a high standard, providing chopped fruit, greek yogurt, cereals, and granola. guests may also have poached eggs, scrambled eggs, or a full english breakfast.

the king room was lovely and spacious i thought. lucy and john are very friendly and helpful people. the breakfasts were delicious as i ate them all.
i noticed a very small stain on the carpet, no big deal for me.
