I felt grateful for the secure location and the parking available. My room had a lovely decor, with a modern bathroom, and plenty of space. The breakfast service included fresh pastries. The gardens had many flowers adding a lot of visual interest.
The bedroom curtains were a bit thin and let in too much light in the morning.

a lovely and unique guest house experience

I appreciated the little thoughtful touches, like the tissues by the bedside cabinet. extra hooks for hanging coats were helpful, as was the shaving kit in the bathroom. the breakfast offered a cooked english breakfast with coffee and toast immediately. I couldn't have asked for more.
the cushions in the room showed some staining, indicating they needed a refresh. an overpowering air freshener seemed like it was masking a dusty smell. it was only a minor issue, but noticeable.
