quiet roomspacious roomhuge bathroom
the ground floor room was a treat (i loved the easy access). it was surprisingly quiet and very spacious. the bathroom was huge, a real plus after a long day.

The room was tidy and the bed offered great quality. The staff were helpful and promptly resolved minor facility issues. The pub has a friendly atmosphere. Our visit coincided with the Sunday night quiz. It was fun to answer the questions. We appreciated the range of breakfast options.
There was a slight issue with the room. I found a mini fridge containing a half-eaten sandwich, causing an unpleasant odor, and it was an unpleasent surprise.

The room had a comfy bed and a modern bathroom. The shower was very hot. I appreciated the nice atmosphere. The room was also quiet since it was away from the external extractor fans.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They left us cereal and yoghurt since we had to leave early. The staff arranged a platter of sandwiches for my family without prebooking. It was much appreciated.

The hotel is in a beautiful location. Quality facilities are available. The pub is clearly at the heart of the community. It offers a lovely chilled atmosphere, and the location was good though the parking was expensive!

The restaurant food was excellent, and I also had a very enjoyable meal. The cooked breakfast had a good range of options. The portions were hearty. More vegetarian choices on the menu would improve a longer stay. The ambiance was excellent!

the staff were helpful and pleasant.
The bedside lights were broken and the box covering the room's consumer unit was also damaged. the mattress was poor. I could feel the base unit underneath when i sat down. i booked fairly last minute and discovered the included breakfast was only continental, a bit disappointing.
