Solid Choice Near Borgarnes
clean hot tub easy access satisfying breakfast
The hot tub was easy to access and always clean. I used the sauna after hiking. It offered a great way to unwind. The breakfast provided a basic but satisfying start to my day with several choices.

The staff accommodated our early arrival. The room featured a clean, mini kitchen, equipped for basic cooking. I appreciated the availability of an outdoor hot tub and could hear ocean waves near the room.

Mixed Experience, Some Issues Noted
sulfur water small room
The shower water smelled strongly of sulfur, which I found unpleasant. The receptionist said this was normal for the country but other hotels I stayed at did not have this problem. Our triple room was small with little space for luggage. The slanted roof made it difficult to stand up straight in places.

The staff was amiable. I used the laundry service. The cost was 3000 kr. This was indispensable given my travel plans. Free coffee and tea near the reception area provided a welcome amenity.
