Acceptable stay near the center
perfect location working kettle tea sachets steep stairs unsightly laundry inadequate surface
The location impressed me. It was perfect for exploring the city on foot. The provided kettle was clean and worked well. Sachets of tea, coffee, and milk were available.
The stairs were quite steep and narrow, both inside and outside. I felt the amount of laundry left at the entrance hall was unsightly. No proper surface existed on which to prepare drinks.

perfect location easy process spacious room extra pillows
The location was just perfect for exploring. i found the self check-in process easy to follow thanks to the clear instructions. the room size surprised me. It was much more spacious than i thought it would be. i was also very grateful for the extra pillows in the wardrobe. They really helped me sleep better.
The communal hallway could use some tidying up. It looks a little scruffy.

tea and coffee were available in the room for a quick refreshment. hallway top-ups provided additional convenience . a tesco express nearby allows for easy acquisition of snacks and drinks.

the provided kettle was clean and functioned perfectly for making hot beverages. i found three main plug sockets available in the room for charging my devices. there were two sockets by the bed and one under the kettle.

communication with the hosts was easy and prompt via email and message. they responded quickly and were helpful when i had questions. their attentiveness added to the positive experience.

the location allows for easy walking to the city centre attractions. the minster is a very short walk from the hotel. hearing the bells from the room added to the experience.

Acceptable Stay with Some Issues
limescale kettle uncomfortable bed
The kettle in the room was full of limescale, it looked quite bad. The shower took a very long time to get warm, about ten minutes each morning. I also noticed one of the bedside shelves was loose, I was unable to put anything on it. The bed wasn't very comfortable. I woke up frequently during the night.

The provided towels were plentiful, and I found various soaps. The host responded quickly to my queries. The bathroom and room were clean.

Central Location and Comfortable Stay
central location comfortable bed clear instructions
The location was unbeatable. I found it so easy to walk to the main attractions. My room was very clean, the bed very comfortable, and the shower had good pressure. The tea and coffee facilities were a nice bonus (I especially liked the selection of teas). The hosts answered my questions quickly and provided clear instructions .
I noticed the stairs inside the hotel were quite steep and narrow. This made carrying my luggage a bit challenging. It might be difficult with mobility issues.
