convenient location short walk grease smell thin windows
the hotel location was very convenient. it was only a short walk from the train station and the city centre which was perfect for me. i checked in early because my room was ready. i was able to leave my bags and explore the city that day.
the linen smelled like grease. the room was freezing at night and the wind blew through the windows. i didn't notice the heating on much and i couldn't control it in the room.

key attraction tidy room convenient location
The staff provided maps and highlighted key attractions, A REALLY helpful service. The room was tidy and clean. It was approximately 10 minutes by foot to the city center (very convenient).
The walls seemed quite thin, I could hear some noise from other rooms.

The hotel had parking and EV charging at the rear. I was allowed to leave my car there on check-out day. This allowed me to explore more, without worrying about my car. The folder in the room contained all information about my stay and the area. The team thought of everything to. The outdoor area was a nice bonus.

The staff was supportive and patient. They kindly allowed me to leave my car after check-out. That was a big help. The check-in was quick, and team members were friendly.

The location was perfect. I could leave my car there avoiding traffic. The walk to the city center was short. It took me around 15 minutes. The hotel is near the train station.

friendly staff english breakfast luggage storage expensive parking room decoration noisy room
the staff were friendly and accommodating. the full english breakfast was lovely. i also appreciated being able to leave my luggage after check-out to spend more time in the city.
the parking charge felt expensive. the room was very noisy because of a train going past. the hotel room could do with being updated and decorated. paint was coming off the skirting and walls.

Good location and friendly staff
spacious room quiet garden on-site bakery
The room was spacious and clean, it had a good amount of tea, coffee and sugar. The bed was comfy. The garden was well maintained and a quiet area, I loved the hot tub. I also noticed the smell of baking from Beth Bakes & Cakes on-site and it was very nice!
The car park was tight. It felt inconvenient.
