exquisite ryokan Experience
seamless check-in early breakfast restful sleep staff stories
I loved the seamless check-in i received. The staff member had interesting conversation and shared travel stories. She arranged a breakfast to take with me because of my early departure. It was a lovely touch. The room was excellent. I got the best night's sleep i had during my time in japan.
i found the dinner pleasant, BUT it was not the highlight of my visit. The food was fine and service was good, yet it is not somewhere you would come for a culinary standout.

the rooftop public baths offered a wonderful, quiet experience. the location is central, providing good views of the sea and boardwalk, a perfect vantage point i treasured there.

friendly staff amazing restaurant huge room
I loved the friendly and helpful staff. They gave great recommendations for local attractions and booked a fantastic nearby restaurant. the room was huge, even without a view! the onsen was awesome too. It was a total win!

The staff were very kind. i received recommendations about nearby attractions and restaurants. They were super helpful! the hotel booked an amazing nearby restaurant for me. the continental breakfast was really good (the pastries were very nice!).
the room was a bit noisy during the day since it faced the street.

mixed feelings ABOUT this stay
limited selection slower service
The breakfast lacked variety, i expected more for the PRICE. the selection felt limited, with only a few options available. The staff seemed understaffed during peak hours, this resulted in slower service at times. i also noticed some wear and tear in the room, SUCH as minor stains on the carpet.
