Excellent Hotel Near People's Square

I found the staff very helpful at check-in and check-out, they handled my bags efficiently. The hotel's location is great, close to Nanjing Pedestrian Street. I had a large room with comfortable beds. It is a beautiful grand historic building. The metro station is very close. It is just across the road.
The paid WiFi was a surprise, I did not know about it.

The hotel features a gym, it has three treadmills and two stationary bikes, I noted. There is also a pool area with twenty loungers and a shaded section, it looked very relaxing. These facilities are well kept.

My room included two separate sinks and a rainfall shower. It was great. The bed was large and comfortable. I could control the room temperature with an individual thermostat! It worked well.

The location is CENTRAL, very close to People's Square metro station. The hotel is right across from the Nanjing pedestrian area. It was a short walk to the Bund from there. I enjoyed the spacious room.
The carpet looked old. It had some stains. The decoration seemed somewhat outdated.

the location is superb since it's opposite people's square. nanjing road is also a short walk away. the metro is very close so i found traveling around super easy. the room i stayed in was also very quiet and clean. i had a really good experience overall.
my only minor issue was that i found the staff a bit impersonal during check-in it wasn't a big deal though

I had a room offering views of People's Square. The location is excellent for transportation. Both train and metro lines are nearby. Shopping and a hop-on hop-off bus are conveniently located in front of the building. The staff was helpful. They accommodated my early check-in after a long flight.
