excellent staffspacious room
The staff was excellent i appreciated that they upgraded my room on arrival. the room was also spacious. It was lovely and clean.
I noticed earplugs on the bedside tables. I found this concerning on arrival.

My room faced the high street. It was a large room. Free parking exists behind the hotel.
The floors creak a bit. I think it is due to the age of the building.

blown bulbbar noise
The room was on the noisy side. Folks kept walking past and talking. The door at the bottom of the stairs slammed shut repeatedly. I didn't like the bar noise. I've stayed here many times before, but this room was the worst I've had. I also noticed that every room I've stayed in here has had a blown bulb.
