the owner showed us to our room early. detailed directions were given upon our departure. i had honest pub food with large portions. the bedding felt fresh.
the bedroom need updated. the mattress felt uncomfortable.

the pub features a warm and cozy bar area. there is also a fire for comfort. plentiful parking space exist at the rear of the building and adds convenience arriving by car.

staff members were always friendly. they also provided helpful service . breakfast was cooked and included fresh coffee. i also got plenty of toast.

i felt welcome upon arrival. the owner let us store our motorbikes in his garage overnight, it was very secure. the food tasted excellent. the room included comfy beds.
the shower had limited water pressure, this made rinsing slower.

A Mixed Experience

Check-in was difficult upon arrival. The landlord seemed annoyed when I arrived a few minutes early. My room had issues. The wardrobe rattled loudly each time I walked around. The breakfast was also a let down. I left most of it uneaten.

The location offered a wonderfully quiet retreat, a true escape from the bustle of daily life. I found ample, safe parking available directly onsite, giving me great peace of mind. The pub showcased an old-world charm, a very quaint setting that felt both comforting and special. The draught beers were good with a wide selection to choose from..
I noticed only body wash was available. Separate soap for face washing would be a welcome addition.

The staff was very friendly and the hospitality I received. The owner greeted me warmly and was happy to stay open to accommodate a delayed arrival because of heavy traffic. Every staff member was eager to assist and ensure a smooth experience.

The room was comfortable. That met my expectations.
The mattress felt old. It sagged quite a bit. i had trouble sleeping well because of it. also, the breakfast options felt limited if you didn't want a full english. Just tea and toast seemed overpriced at £5.
