nubian decor private balcony
The room had great Nubian decor. The private balcony provided nice views of the Nile for morning coffee (i enjoyed it a lot).
The tuk-tuk ride is long. It takes 20 minutes in an open-air truck.

unpaved road unreliable wi-fi
I found a few aspects of my stay less than satisfactory. The journey to the hotel proved difficult. The unpaved access road was long and bumpy, and my taxi driver struggled to find it. the advertised Wi-Fi was unreliable (very frustrating). I think some investment in infrastructure is needed.

Lovely Nile Views and Wonderful Staff

The architecture has vibrant colors. The design is fine. I enjoyed the Nile River views from my balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful. They arranged a half-day tour for me. Breakfast was excellent. The rooms were super clean and thoughtfully designed. Interesting activities are available. They also organize trips to Abu Simbel Temple at a good price, which I highly recommend. I felt at ease with the magical atmosphere, the kindness of the staff was very special. The hotel offers a free tuk-tuk service. This takes guests to the Nubian village. The tuk-tuk rides made getting around easy. The staff provided bottled water daily. They boxed my breakfast when I asked the night before. The AC was great. The room was clean.

The dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. I particularly loved the local dishes, showcasing unique flavors. Nubian Chicken Tajine was beyond perfection, so tasty and special.

The location is away from the city. The hotel feels peaceful and secluded. It offers a glimpse into a part of the area still untouched by mainstream tourism. The spot is very quiet
