the staff IS very friendly and helpful. the food had a nice buffet variety for dinner and amazing desserts. overall, the hotel area felt relaxed and very well-kept. i found the atmosphere quite enjoyable and quiet.
i paid a lot for four nights. then, they charged me for bottled water. this was not expected in an all inclusive package. it's an annoying policy.

the staff provided excellent service at the pool. the pools were clean and well maintained. al mar restaurant served delicious food with great variety.
the gym equipment seemed a little outdated. some hallways showed wear with paint peeling. i found the evening entertainment somewhat lacking.
