Acceptable stay with some letdowns
poorly trained staff missing napkin
The location was perfect. It was close to both the train and tube station.
I found that the staff in many cases is poorly trained for this caliber of hotel. Bartenders did not know the basics of making a proper cocktail. At a minimum they should provide a napkin.

warm service efficient porters
The staff were consistently warm. they were quietly attentive, never overbearing. porters alex, adrian, and jack were efficient. Every interaction was friendly.
my room was blissfully quiet, but the quality of furnishings did not quite match the beautiful locale.

Excellent Stay at a Beautiful Hotel
security lift festive atmosphere lovely decoration convenient location
The hotel features a security lift system. This ensures only hotel guests access upper floors. The Christmas decorations enhanced the festive atmosphere. Our room received lovely decorations, a sweet treat. The hotel is located near major attractions, simplifying exploration.
The mini bar only had two water bottles and two tiny milk bottles.

We enjoyed breakfast in the parlour. Eggs Benedict and croissants were available. We also sampled light bites such as lobster rolls. The quality and taste of the food stood out.

Our room was decorated with attention to detail. The hotel also provided a sweet treat for our son. This added a personal touch to our stay. The room's decor contributed positively to the overall experience.

The staff communicated excellently prior to our arrival. Roksana in Guest Relations arranged dinner and drinks reservations. She also organized extra decorations. Her messages ensured a perfect stay.

The Fitz's bar boasts fabulous ambiance and decor. The cocktail list offered amazing choices. We even tried the Black Hole. The bar's atmosphere is enjoyable.

the room provided complimentary bottled waters daily. the bathroom featured a walk-in shower. breakfast had lots of choice and great service.

Grand architecture and attentive service
superb location comfy bed helpful staff custom chocolates
The location is superb, right next to Russell square station. The hotel gave a nice note and four chocolates for my anniversary. Check-in was quick and the staff was helpful. The cleanliness reached another level, a beautifully appointed room with a gorgeous comfy bed. I found a wide range of pillows.
The bar closed a bit early. I thought that was odd for such a great hotel.

The front desk provided efficient assistance and offered helpful recommendations. The doormen were also always available. Staff were warm and always helped when I arrived.

The hotel offers a gym with cardio equipment and weights. There IS free tea and coffee. The bar features a specialty drink menu. There is a restaurant providing quality food.

The room included a yoga mat and a digital radio. The bathroom included high-end toiletries and a rainfall shower. I loved the fragrance from its custom incense burner. There was a large wardrobe with a safe.

I had a family room with two double beds! Breakfast had many options for my whole family. The staff was helpful. The hotel location is great, close to the center and many restaurants.
