balanced visit
large bathroom christmas decoration overpriced food slow service
the room was much bigger than expected. the bathroom was equally as large with a walk in steam shower. pressure was wonderful. breakfast offered quick service and team again were ready to assist with anything. the hotel was so beautifully decorated for christmas.
the food is overpriced. i sent back lamb as it was cold. it was overcooked. i was given someone elses bill. the food was concentrating on style over substance.

a balanced experience
beautiful ground polite staff well trained staff old room cold room non-existent wifi
the grounds are vast and beautiful. i particularly enjoyed the magical forest next to the hotel. the service felt attentive, with a polite staff. i found the staff to be very knowledgeable.
I found the room to be old. it felt cold, not ideal. the wifi signal was nonexistent in the room. This made zoom calls impossible. i could also hear every word spoken in the room next door.
