the staff gave a warm welcome. i got plenty of information about the city.
we didn't end up staying. i did not feel safe and i decided to book a different hotel closer to the main area. it was also unusual that we had to leave the room key at the front desk whenever i went out.

i appreciated the larger-than-expected roomwith excellent air conditioning. the coffee on the terrace at breakfast was a highlight, and the views were fantastic. i found the walk to the main area manageable, and the hotel provided a peaceful escape. the gardens offered a relaxing spot with olive trees.
the pool was surprisingly deep, which may be a concern for some guests.
