The location was quite convenient. (It was easy to walk to the main attractions.)
The staff seemed disengaged. I almost felt bad asking for assistance. Our room had several maintenance issues. Two lights were out. Dinner was overpriced, and the portions were too small. I left feeling hungry and a bit disappointed (and not because of the food quality itself).

i felt welcome upon arrival. sandra was especially helpful in coordinating everything. i found my room lovely, exactly as described, and the terrace was a great spot for morning coffee. breakfast had a decent buffet, it was a refreshing change from the bread-heavy meals i had at riads.
The lighting could be improved. A couple of lights in the room were not working.

the hotel arranged transfers from the airport. i received prompt and helpful responses to pre-stay emails. the location is superb. it is slightly elevated, but just a short walk to the grand socco.
the outdoor pool was somewhat small.
