My room included tartan bedding, which I found thematic.. Free parking on the street proved easy to access. I enjoyed the substantial breakfast the next morning. The portion size for my evening meal was quite generous.
The code entry was a little difficult.

The restaurant served fabulous food. The staff showed a wonderful 'can do' attitude, especially regarding the gluten-free options. All staff were helpful and friendly . Chef Rob deserves recognition for his delicious food (the dishes tasted amazing!).

the staff were attentive. they coped with allergies, and breakfast had a substantial amount of food. the chef cooked a special meal for my wife because of her allergies. it was appreciated.
getting into the hotel felt a little fiddly.

the accommodation overlooks the shipping yards. i saw offshore oil platforms from there. this was a fascinating sight, an industrial landscape.
