easy distance helpful staff delicious options authentic vibe
I loved that it was within easy walking distance to major attractions. Staff were helpful, especially with restaurant recommendations. The breakfast offered many delicious options each morning. I appreciated the authentic vibe this hotel offered..
The elevator seemed small. It only fits two people comfortably, something to consider with lots of luggage.

the daytime desk concierge seemed nice. location was good. it was quiet in the evening.
there was no heat. it was very cold. i understand it was a rule, based on calendar, but i was very uncomfortable.

flooded bathroom refused compensation
The room was not as expected. I paid extra for a beautiful room (or so I thought). It looked nothing like the pictures online. The bathroom flooded every time I showered. There was very disturbing noise above us. The front desk staff did not provide information about the noise and refused any compensation.

fresh fruit lovely pastries attentive staff convenient location
the breakfast offered various choices with fresh fruit and lovely pastries. the waiting staff remained attentive and friendly at all times i noticed. our room was ready early, and they carried our bags upstairs upon arrival. the location between the duomo and mercato centrale proved convenient.
i found many uneven surfaces and slopes around. i would have liked advanced notice to find a more suitable place.
