amazing hotel, great location!!!

I loved the two separate bedrooms, each had its own shower and toilet. the kitchen, fridge, and dining area were great additions. the location was amazing, right next to a mall and the metro. although most tours couldn't pick us up, i walked to the holiday inn across the street. It was a short 3-5 minute walk.
during my visit, i noticed no tea and coffee were available in the room. i think these items are basic for a hotel, and i didn't like going out to find them.

The staff were helpful and friendly. They assisted with directions. they also provided useful tips for navigating public transportation, essential for exploring the area, i felt charmed.

mold in showerhigh humidity
The room was not very clean. I noticed mold in the shower and hair on the floor. Fingerprints marked the windows. The air conditioning dripped water, which soaked some clothes. We did not notice it at first. The shower being directly in the room and sealed windows also made the humidity very high after showers.

helpful staffsustainability efforts
The staff were very helpful. I love the sustainability efforts the hotel do. The Perumal temple is right next door, beautiful. Luggage trolleys are available.

underwhelming stay
inadequate cleaningpoor service
the cleanliness was definitely not up to par. during my stay, no cleaning was done. the 'light cleaning' that was promised consisted only of leaving a tissue roll on the table. also, the towels weren't properly replaced and it was hard to tell if they had even been changed. i did not think i received appropriate service for what i paid.

The location is excellent with quick access to the MRT station (it's literally a two-minute walk). A convenience store nearby proved very useful for quick needs. City Square Mall, with shops and dining, is directly across the street. This made shopping and eating quite easy. The bus stop beside the building was convenient.
The room was quite small relative to the price paid. It felt a bit expensive considering the limited space and amenities.

The staff was friendly and helpful with directions. They quickly addressed any concerns I had (a lightbulb needed replacing).

The room layout was efficient with a separate area for the shower and toilet. The air conditioning kept the room at a comfortable temperature. It was easy to adjust. A locker in the room provided secure storage for valuables.

The laundry facilities in the foyer were helpful for washing clothes. The dining area on the fourth floor offered a space to eat. I found the communal kitchen well-equipped (it had everything I needed for a simple meal).
