The location is superb. The hotel is very close to many attractions. I found the room to be well furnished and comfortable. Large towels were available in the bathroom.
The service was slow. Staff seemed inexperienced. I had to remind them of missing items multiple times. There was a wedding taking over the entire bar area , with little offer of alternatives.

the decor was great, if a bit much to cater for the american golfing crowd. tunnocks tea cakes in the room was a very nice touch. it. the staffs were friendly.
the room i get was small, and very cold. there wasnt room to unpack my suitcase properly. the window in the bathroom had dust i could see.
