I found the reception staff to be efficient and cute upon arrival. I received an upgrade to a junior suite, room 211, that included a separate dressing area. The hotel has a Lebanese restaurant called Baba and a relaxed bar. I found beautiful areas to relax including a garden room and also a spa with a pool.

The windows in my bedroom were quite dirty, and the hall carpet had stains. I noticed these issues for the two days I was there on my way back to my room. I did not expect that considering the amount I paid. I would try another place next time.

The room's bathroom included two separate sinks. There was a rainfall shower also. The hotel gym had three treadmills. There were two stationary bikes available for guest use.

The elevators were a bit slow sometimes.

The hotel features luxury furnishings akin to the Kimpton brand. I found the staff excellent they were very friendly and helpful. Olivia at reception gave a lovely welcome. My room had a fantastic view of the castle and a comfy bed. I used the swimming pool sauna and steam room. They were very relaxing.

The flooring in my room looked slightly worn and the bathroom tiles looked a bit mouldy.

The staff were always smiling and ready to help. They took customer service to another level. One young lady was an asset to this hotel. She were very good. Another staff member at the front desk was also really good.
