Great Boutique Hotel Experience

clean bathroomexcellent selectioncalm staffgreat decor
The room had great decor. I noticed a clean bathroom. The shower has great power, with amazing smelling l'occitane body wash. Tea, coffee, and biscuit selection was excellent. It includes decaf coffee. I found staff calm and polite. Emma at reception saved the day. She found me a car space. Food at supper was excellent too. Breakfast also good with poached eggs avocado.
The air conditioning in my room was very weak. I woke up feeling stuffy, with headache.

Reserved Parking and Lovely Cottage

reserved parkinghelpful staffcomfortable beddirty pillow
I reserved a parking space in advance and it was beneficial given the limited parking. The reception staff were very helpful and escorted us to our cottage room. The cottage was surrounded by flowers and it was large plus very clean with comfortable bed and effective air conditioning. I would stay again.
The pillows smelled of old hair. I found this unpleasant.
Rooms
9/10
The room had high ceilings. I appreciated the spacious feel. There was also a voucher for drinks, a nice alternative to room cleaning. It was an excellent way to relax after a long day.
Service
9/10
The breakfast service was fantastic, especially from Helen. She consistently offered really good service. The wifi signal was strong, enabling a smooth work meeting. Some new staff members were polite and personable. There were different dinner price options available.
