charming stay with tasty food

the room was quite spacious it was the biggest i have stayed in europe i think the bed was comfortable and the windows opened i also found a fan in the closet which was nice it had an iron and ironing board the water was very hot which i liked the staff was also lovely they made a fresh english breakfast each morning i had two dinners and they tasted fantastic. the staff let me stay in the pub to wait for my uber before they opened that was really nice it is close to the church where my family was for a wedding it was about a four minute walk.
the bathroom felt a little dated honestly.

breakfast was very good and served at the exact time i requested because i had to leave early for work the late check out was good the staff gave me a great deal of help i needed .

the room was very clean a definite plus even though it could use a bit of diy work in some areas blackout curtains definitely helped get a restful sleep it made it really dark inside which i loved i appreciated the quiet in the evenings.

I found the staff to be both lively and friendly. The manager was especially helpful. she provided slimming world friendly options and emailed the menu in advance. i appreciated the ample parking, made visiting berkeley castle easy. the location was also convenient for walking around the village.
I noticed that the shower had some issues with maintaining a consistent temperature. It fluctuated between scalding hot and freezing cold.

The room included plenty of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate supplies. This allowed for immediate refreshment. a bath was available with a generous supply of hot water. a comfortable bed ensured restful nights.

the hotel bar offered a friendly area for drinks. a full english breakfast was available along with quality cafetières of coffee. the inn offered a cosy atmosphere with easy access to the m5.

the staff efficiently managed check-in at various times. they also offered suggestions for nearby attractions like slimbridge wildfowl wetlands. the staff provided excellent service throughout the stay.

the staff proved helpful and friendly. i found ample parking right on the premises. the breakfast i had included fresh fruit and a selection of cereals (i loved it!). the location was great, offering easy access to nearby attractions.
