I found the breakfast very tasty in a room that retained original architectural features. the building has a cute bar. I found it enjoyable to sit there. the staff were friendly and efficient, and i appreciated their attentiveness.
the shower had slight black mould around the bottom edge, it was a minor issue.

i noticed mould all around the shower base. the extractor fan was not working and there was no towel rail. the furnishings in the room were dated and marked.

the staff seemed friendly. breakfast was tasty and the self service was good. parking was easy outside the hotel and their own car park.
i suspect management do not read the reviews. the room felt cold and damp. decor seemed very tired and dated.
