a good stay
attentive host juice selection historic location friendly staff
isabella was a perfect host and very attentive. the breakfast offered a great combination of grains, juices, and a traditional english breakfast. i found the location easy to access, and it's in a very historic place. the staff were accommodating and friendly.
the building is old, so floors do creak a little, something to consider for light sleepers.

The hotel features parking. a cosy bar is available to guests. there is wifi in public areas. It worked perfectly. breakfast service runs smoothly each morning.

the hotel enjoys a central spot. it is within easy walking distance to town amenities. the train station is only ten minutes away. this offers excellent accessibility to transportation.

staff were great. breakfast was very good, lots of choice.
The floors creak in the old building. the room next door did not have an ensuite bathroom. It was opposite their door. we were woken up by the unlocking and locking of doors all night.

quick check-in spacious room vegan breakfast
The check-in process was quick and efficient. My room had lots of space. The vegan breakfast had effort put into it. I really appreciate that. The separate entrance from the pub was a plus.

Excellent Breakfast and Friendly Staff
proper breakfast polite staff early breakfast
The cooked breakfast was proper! I recommend it. The staff greeted me politely. They allowed me to order breakfast the night before. It was always made for me at 7am the next morning.
I found every floorboard squeaky. It's not an exaggeration! The busy pub made quite a lot of noise from the beer garden at night.

The hotel offers free parking round the back, a great advantage. There is also a pub and gastropub on-site. guests can easily access a supermarket and local places to eat which are within walking distance.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful and provided a warm welcome on arrival. The team served breakfast promptly with fresh ingredients. The reception staff remembered me from a previous week, which I thought was excellent.
