welcome snacks tiny instruction
The room was very clean with nice decor. It included everything you needed like a hair dryer, an ironing board, an iron, tea, and coffee.
The 'welcome snacks' were NOT free. I had to read the tiny instruction card after eating some. It seemed very stingy especially considering the price of the room. I expected a packet of crisps to be included.

a decent riverside stay

handy location hot breakfast stale perfume unclean feel
the location was handy for river walks. i also found the bars and beer gardens nearby quite good. parking was easy enough to find. the hot breakfast choices were tasty.
the room seemed to reek of stale perfume. i thought the sheets might not have been changed, but i learned they had been. the room really needed a good airing, as it felt unclean.

Riverside Dream

perfect location morning walks city center
This location proved perfect. The river Exe was right next door. The morning walks were so wonderful for both me and my dear dog. The short walk into the city center was also a plus.
The staff seemed a little eager to end their shift in the late evening, this was not subtle.
Rooms
9/10
The room had accessories. I found a hair dryer, fan, kettle, and also a selection of hot drinks. Nice soap and water bottles were a treat and the king size bed was very comfortable. The decor was great, except some picture frames of scrap wood.
