the breakfast was good with a selection of hot and cold items.
I asked for a quiet room but i was given a room above a fan running from a kitchen. It ran all night. the shower was barely a trickle, it was almost useless.

The afternoon tea was delicious. The selection of sandwiches and cakes was good. The staff was SO friendly. I appreciate the building it has a beautiful outside seating area.
The service was slow during lunch. We had to wait 45 minutes for drinks after ordering, and one drink was wrong. Starters arrived after 1 hour and 15 minutes from when we placed the order. There was NO apology or explanation for the wait.

the Tudor manor aspect was amazing, i could sit in the great hall and soak up all the history. The grounds were really nice with great views. The staff was all helpful and very polite.
the brasserie menu did seem a little limited. i wished there were more options available.

The grounds were peaceful. the bed was very comfortable. i found lots of choice at breakfast. The hot food was cooked fresh.
our shower had a fixed head drencher. the temperature gauge was faulty, either red hot or boiling hot. i was told they knew about it. they should have addressed it before they let the room out again.
